9 days til the wedding!

Nine days!
Today sort-of starts everything – Chase’s brother Scott gets in this afternoon. The two of them will be staying at my aunt’s house over the weekend.
Tonight I’ve got to finish my bridesmaids gifts, and mom is working on my veil.
Tomorrow morning, we go to get the marriage license! Then tomorrow night, we have to start getting the house ready for guests, I’ll be packing a bit (for the move), etc.
Saturday is my lingerie shower & bridesmaids get-together.
Sunday, there is something going on Sunday and I can’t remember – one of these days I need to go get the chiffon for the arbor.
Monday we start house sitting LOL
Tuesday Chase’s best man Kevin gets here…
Wednesday Chase’s dad and step mom get here…
Thursday Chase’s mom and sister get here, and they have the bachelor party that night.

I just realised I forgot to eat dinner last night! LOL.

Love the wonder woman pictures! What is your cape made out of? It flows so beautifully, really goes with the costume! I’m thinking of making one for my costume for when it’s a tad chilly!

thanks!! LOL I’m glad you think so, I didn’t have time to make anything so I just used my winter Belle cape with the hood tucked in! It’s velvet – so it kept me nice & warm 🙂
In your last entry the first action figure you posted with the cape – I just got that action figure and that’s the cape I’d love to make to go with it one of these days, myself!

It really does look fantastic, very regal! I’m guessing by the drape it’s silk velvet? I love that stuff!

I love that cape that’s on the figure! I’d have to grab my comics out and check, but I’m pretty sure it’s similar (if not the same) to the one she wears in the new comics (which is what mine is based off). Though seeing as it’s generally not very cold here in QLD (or anywhere in Aust cept Melb and Tassie) there’s really no use me making something really warm (like velvet – though I LOVE the drape). Usually it’s only cold in the wind,b= but warm elsewhere. So I’m thinking maybe a delustered satin (which is what I used for my corset) with a nice lining, and satin ribbon for the trims. Depends if I can find some cheap enough!!
